I am flying into Portlan, OR tomorrow morning. I have the evenings of Jan 11 and 12 free and would like to do some karaoke.

Where is your show at in Canby? Spinning Wheel, Dennys, etc?

I can always come down to a show for the weekend. My wife has been bugging me to take her to Portland for the weekend for almost 6 years now.

Thanks for the tips, folks!

I have hooked up with Swing Cat Curt in Portland. We went out to Duff's for some Blues, swung by the Grand where he does a show from time to time and ended the night at the Ambassador where we each sang several songs.

Tonight we are heading to Mister B's and then back to Downtown to Karaoke From Hell (Live Band Karaoke!).

Didnt make it down to Thursday Night Karaoke From Hell live band....ended up having TOO MUCH KARAOKE FUN at MR. B's in Troutdale ..................AND did a story for the upcoming issue of Northwest Karaoke Guide mag in Seattle on MR. B's Karaoke lounge and their KJ Big Mike. Il be sure to post up the link for the Febuary Issue. AND did a MAN ON THE STREET interview with CHRIS HIMSELF COMPLETE WITH PHOTOS....they will be on the website with the story and Ill be sure to post the link here when its published(will include some interesting takes on OREGON SC LAWSUIT also)

But anyway gave Chris the TOUR DE FORCE in Portland.on Wednesday Night....
Started with Mrs Swingcat making HOMEMADE ENCHILADA's at my house, then some Karaoke in my basement nightclub(although my amp is acting up and started to cut out..heating prob maybe?)

Then went to Duff's Garage Blues Bar(begin Chris's immersion and education on Portland's Blues scene) and stayed for the first set at Suburban Slims Blues Jam

Popped into the Grand Cafe where I do occaisional KJ/DJ gigs and showed him our salsa dance club downstairs---ANDREA's CHA CHA CLUB.

Then drove by and showed him 2 bars listed in the Oregon SC KARAOKE LAWSUIT.

Then had some really good late night Chinese food(Hot & Sour Soup with Spring rolls). and encountered a REALLY CUTE BLONDE cocktail waitress at the Ambassador where we did Karaoke for the evening!

All in all THE TOUR DE FORCE.

Next trip down for him will be LIVE BAND KARAOKE!! Karaoke From Hell at the Tiger Bar in Downtown PDX.

And all this CAUSE THATS HOW WE ROLL IN DA 503!!
