A friend of mine who was a member of this forum has passed. Ronnie used to come to my karaoke shows an was a very nice outgoing gentleman. I believe his username was Ronnie. RIP my friend. http://obituaries.galesburg.com/obituar ... =155240802

My show last night was an emotional one. Ronnie's fiance, son and daughter in law came to the show even though they (son and wife) live in St. Louis. They took the first table (one that Ronnie and his fiance always sat at) and stayed for most of the night. I changed my lyrics screen to show a pic of Ronnie singing, his son sang a couple songs and I dedicated the night to Ronnie. Although the dedication was a bit sad at first, I promised fun for everyone in the spirit of Ronnie and it was a good night! His fiance asked me to sing one of Ronnie's favorites so I sang Wonderful Tonight and she and Ronnie's son led the dance.
Sometimes karaoke actually brings people together and closer. Ok to share your experiences on this thread if you want. Just a break from all the pirating chatter.
