Well I over lapped the CB6000 with my Cut Gem (Emeralds 1 & 2, and Saprhires 2, 3, 4 & 6). There are 514 duplicates, not to bad. Still around 40% of the dup's were Country I didn't want. Just so I'm clear, I don't mind having to buy duplicates, it comes with the business. I do mind having to buy mixed genres. As far as SC needing to make money, I want them to so they get back printing new releases. They would be getting more of my money if they didn't bundle like they do... Now, I'm going to send my money also to the Brits (Sunfly) and get the other Rock that I need thats in the Diamond, and others hid in their packages. Some I can't get outside of SC, oh well...

Well, Another Way for you to get the SC songs that you want (After Ordering the Gem Series) would be to order some Custom discs from Clark Music Australia. You can Order a disc with a minimum of 5 songs (4.55 AUD Each) and the shipping is about $6. This does get you some SC songs that have been discontinued and with out buying a disc with a bunch of songs that you will never use. Also, After buying the GEM Series, SC will give you a Pretty big discount on buying any Spotlight or Star Series Discs that you want directly from them.

Well I overlapped the Gem with the CB6000. Theres 1949 duplicates. After looking and pricing I have to go with the Gem also. They have most of those out of print hard to find titles for Rock and Pop. Aside for the Doors and some Eagles it's close to complete. Chartbuster has a greater selection of Country, so the two make a great combo. I end up paying around $6000.00 for 10,000+ non duplicate songs, and certificates from both SC and CB. Expensive but the way to go...I still may get the CB6000+ later...Whats SC's "The Doors" CD going for these days? Big bucks I bet...

I've got a Doors disc from Legends (# 98). Not bad at all. It's got the following:
Alabama Song
Back Door Man
Been Down So Long
Break on Through
Crystal Ship
Hello I Love You
L.A. Woman
Light My Fire
Love Her Madly
Love Me Two Times
People Are Strange
Riders on the Storm
Roadhouse Blues
Touch Me
Unknown Soldier, The
When the Music's Over

SC never made an all The Doors disc. Only a handful of tunes on various Spotlight discs.

I would have to agree with Lonman the songs that get the most use at our shows are not necessarily the top billboard hits. I do think your idea of getting the Gem and the Mediapro is the most cost effective way to go. That way you would only unlock the CB songs you need.

I have 6 Doors’ songs by SC listed in my book (unless I’m missing some):

Back Door Man
Break On Through
Hello, I Love You
Light My Fire
People Are Strange
Touch Me

By the way, all six songs available as custom order from SC AUS.

Dangerous DG01 has two Doors tunes on it. Roadhouse Blues and Alabama Song. That version of roadhouse blues is the best karaoke version I ever heard. The DG Alabama song is pretty good also.

Ditto! I second that especially "The Alabama Song". Excellent instrumentation.
