I bought this as a collector's item. I collect a few things, including (hence my name here) Cal Ripken stuff.
I don't but collectors items as an investment even though it is.
Even with digital (legal and/or illegal) copies, I think the disc will always have a great deal of value for the two very publicized reasons, there is only a 1000 or so out there, and that the Eagles squashed it and for many, it is the best versions of their songs.
Nobody can predict with great confidence how much this will be in a year, or two years, or ten years.

Not in the market for a turntable--mine from the 60s still work.

I'm a big itunes fan, at least from a standpoint of using it to show my music and artwork and create multiple genres and playlists. It's always open when I DJ. I don't use it to play the music but to reference my genres, playlists, and songs.

I would add that if you can find pre-2000 MacIntosh labs products ( before they started buying consumer grade passives- from me- to build their stuff) you just may have an audiophile orgasm.....

well sorta getting back to the original topic there is only one single karaoke disc I would pay $200 for and that is the trooper disc from karaokemaker.
Not that it got sang a whole lot, but it would be really nice to have a complete collection, and that is the only disc I didn't get the chance to buy from them.
now even tho they aren't the greatest quality, I would also be willing to pay up to $200 for an original graphic *black background with flames* set of Dangerous discs *i have a counterfit set that i use at home, but I don't bring them to karaoke*. To me they have more nostalgic value than anything else as some of the first songs I ever sang were from this set.
if anyone ever happens to come across either one, let me know. -James

Jclayton, Dangerous did change it label numerous times as we found out after snapping quite a number of what we thought we pirated sets. Yours may not be pirated. Feel free to PM or post a pic of the label and I will compare to what we know to be legit. Sorry we dont have a extra set to help you out

Ya know what, we are all human! Hate to be rude here for a change but get over it! Don't lie about hating to be rude... If you really hated to be rude, you would have just said, "Get over it!" without adding the pictures/images a 20th time! I'll admit that what I just did here was childish, but the way you responded back was just plain vindictive and childish (if not worse). Rather than just being "human" (as you put it), and simply say, "I'm sorry," the added post of those images (again) just shows how CHILDISH you really wanted to be about the whole thing, while making a dig at me! I guess your tag line says it all about you... ripman8 wrote: Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine. Go ahead and attack away... Caught me at a bad moment. Sorry for being a dick. I understand Cue's point, especially if a thread gets really long. I will try my best moving forward to trim my thoughts to a few lines without long recopies.
My pet peeve? the guy behind me at a stop light that tries to swing out to the far line and pass me while I'm legally turn to the near lane, turn my signal on and move over.

Just to put a smile on your face, I wanted to tell you that the PC that I use for this forum - Luddite that I am- is on dial-up! It's a business computer and I feel it's more secure that way. I unplug it after every use. I'm probably wrong, but it makes me feel good anyway... I have to admit that my "play" computer is on Fios though..... I would like to apologize for not snipping the pics out of my earlier quote. I simply forgot. I have been called out on this before, and will make every attempt to be more diligent in the future.

Athena Actually the reason i know they are counterfeit has nothing to do with the graphic, I had ordered one set and the graphics were all glitched, so i had the person who sold me the set send a replacement, the graphics are still glitched, and in the EXACT same places as before, so as an experiment i thought i would dowload the songs in question of a torrent, and sure enough the exact same graphic errors showed up.
