I recently moved and have a lot more space now then I used to. So I decided to get some CD shelves and my CD's out of the storage to actually have them at home, neat and sorted.
The first shelf is up and I started sorting my SC disks into it. The reason I'm posting it is, it was a $hit load of work and I'm proud of it, simple as that...

I keep mine in boxes in the back of my old walk in closet. I don't want to go thru the hassle of replacing them if I get robbed.

Thank you guys. I was working all day on it. Second story, box by box... then the shelf, then the sorting. Tomorrow I'm starting to put my PH's in the bottom part. Then the next shelf...

I noticed you have brick set next to foundation. What is the Blue pack just to the right?

That's the "Headbangin' Hits Pak". And right next to it, still in the yellow envelope it came in for safety, my SC8125.

Sevarin very impressive. Please do yourself a huge favor and make sure you update properly your homeowners/renters/business insurance in case of Fire/flood/theft/earthquake/ect that would be a extremely hard and expensive collection to replace. congratulations on an impressive collection.

When I started my karaoke buying spree last year, I called my insurance company to inquire about coverage. They told me to keep purchase receipts and to photograph everything. They told me - "You can't have too many photographs/video of what is in your home". I have a quarterly reminder in Outlook to take pictures of the inside/outside of my house and my cars.

Call your insurer to see what they recommend.

we found out the hard way years ago that there were exceptions for "commercial equipment" and limits on "software" in our homeowners and auto policies.We now have a musicians policy that covers all of our equipment and software at full replacement value thanks to a poster here on this forum. We are covered no matter were our "stuff" is be it in transit, at a venue or in secure storage against ALL calamities. PLEASE everyone protect yourself fully. I don't have the info handy but if the OP that listed the musicians policy info could re-post I'm sure many would thank you. (I think the OP had a trailer full of equipment stolen from his driveway). I will also go to the SD box and see if I can get the info one day next week. In my opinion the insurance is a bargan.

Yep, that trailer theft happened to me. Very bitter memory...
Now the trailer is kept in a gated storage facility with video surveillance, etc.

well then I guess I'm preaching to the choir. Our stuff is kept in a gated secured facility with cameras and fire extinguishers ect. as well. Thanks for posting about the musicians insurance If you have the info handy you may wish to repost for those who haven't seen the info. It was a blessing for us we had been looking as our Homeowners and auto has such small limits
