Hello,

Have any of you used or do you use these for your karaoke? They are called 100 hits and I was looking to add some more modern stuff to what I have and ran across these so was wondering if anyone has tried these and if so how was the sound quality etc. on these?

Thank You,

evilstepdad

100 hits are available on Amazon and they are all MIDI. You can't listen to them on Amazon, but I found another site that had some sound snatches. They were terrible. Run away!!!! Run away!!!!

They aren't completely midi, the guitars are real, definitely drum machines or midi sequenced drums. I've heard worse sounding tracks with Music Maestro, NuTech, Sweet Georgia Brown. Going through a decent system, they could probably be tolerable. Home use, totally fine for the price. Interested to see what the graphics look like.
I wouldn't use them, simply for the fact I already have pretty much everything on that list.

Sorry -- I can't stand midi. I wouldn't spend money for them. There are inexpensive alternatives for sets like this, such as Karaoke Kurrents.

Many of the sets like that use midi instruments as well, especially like NuTech & Sweet Georgia Brown. Only have one Karaoke Kurrent disc somebody gave me, it too has a lot of midi sequencing on it. Mainly the drums just like this 100 Hits set.

Hi there,
These are definately not midi files. They are from demon music, which is part of Sony. I have a few of these and for the money, they are generally good value and of a good quality.
