Since the the GEM discs themselves are already individually numbered and registered, I would guess they just make a note of the numbers and move on.

Sorry. I read it but didn't process it.

No marking of the drive or the tracks. There was a random spot check from the drive library back to the physical discs and then a search for a few random discs. SC8125 was one of them and a few others I don't recall. But no marking of the tracks or drive from Sound Choice.
