And there again lies my problem. My main won't pick up wifis or hotspots on a consistent basis otherwise my books would go bye bye for the most part.
It might not be strong enough. Netgear sells a really good USB WiFi receiver. I have one laptop that lost it's receiver, so I bought the net gear. It picks up WiFi all over the place. Netgear Wireless -N USB.
