......CRAP!!! I thought I was done re-ripping and renaming my files. Everything was looking great, loaded in my player. Roughly around the same time I was looking at another thread "Best And Worst Songs" and decided to pull up some and listen to 'em. Guess what? Out of 25 tracks played, only 12 matched my new file-names. Can you say OOOPS!!! Well, I didn't mind at first. Then I started thinking about the time it would take to go back and RE-DO them. Ok, still not so bad, only OOOPS!!! Then I started thinking "S**T! I didn't back them up like the manual HIGHLY SUGGESTED!!! What was I thinking???
......Oh well, I was gonna go back and compare the new file-names to the disc anyways... CRAP!!!

Also, never do it when you're tired!! ....Am sure I know where I went wrong. Was around halfway through my library when I realized the template was set on {Album} - {Artist} - {Title} when it should have been {Album}-{Track Number} - {Artist} - {Title}. Guess I thought all was fine because I tested a few and everything was matching up. Am thinking those just happened to match up to the actual disc tracks before and after re-naming. I did correct it halfway through but will check them all! ......I was also wondering why I could only re-name 4815 tracks from my Chartbuster 6000 Volume 2. Was beginning to get upset. Thinking....why can't I re-name the other 1285+ tracks? Hopefully they aren't messed up on my Chartbuster HD? It actually looked as though I had a bunch of dups. Geeez, I must have really fried that run! .....Regardless, if it's just Chartbuster tracks, I'm cool. If it's from A-Z Folders, THEN CRAP!!! .....Might as well laugh about it! HA-HA-HA!!! sarcasm... crap...painful...

Don't rename stuff on the original CB drive hon... copy all to another drive and do your editing there. Leave the original as a back up. Could even back up the one you edit.. that would be your 'master' with all manufacturers on it, right? You really should back it up... Yes, that's three hard drives.. CB's, Show, and backup drive...

However, I am going to have to go back delete and re-copy the original and start over again! Thanks for keeping me on my toes!

Will SC's media shift policy allow for a backup drive and a show drive? Technically that would not be 1:1.

I hope they have the attitude that if I'm going through the expense and time for an audit, I won't be running two shows at once with just one physical library. Though, after buying the CB 12,000; I do have enough duplicate disc's to run two shows... the second show just wouldn't have any SC in it. But the way business is right now.. I can't see a concurrent second show happening any time soon.
