@Smoothedge, it's Joe right. Did you read the warning? Life's full of rules, SC set their's out there. If you don't like it well don't use them. Bitching ain't going to change how it is... Yes All Star makes a good product, getting better all the time. I see them as the new front runner in the industry soon...
Jon Hopefully they are producing music with proper licensing and not going be sued out of business by the actual artists & publishers of the artists like so many other manus were. I have been using them for alot of newer stuff lately.

.....By the way, I don't recall having anything "BAD" from All Star. Their products seems to be pretty good across the board.
.....Lon, I also hope they are licensed.

Lonnie I moved our conversation on All Star here (I hate hi-jacked threads). Yes I use them alot at gigs, customers seem to like them. My complaint to them was the size of their library. Their response was simply, if and when we get a contract, then we start production...Give them a call sometime they could use the imput from a guy like you that knows all the ins and outs. There a laided back kind of company in California, easy to talk to. Ask for Brent (800)817-7024...

I only have 2 custom discs approx 32 songs, but there are nothing wrong with the songs i've heard so far, compare equally with any of the big boys. Their graphics are a little cheesy, but far better than Fast Trax in that respect.

4300 is pretty respectable for a company fairly new in the game. Unfortunately I have most of their songs already from other manus, but have been filling in the newer stuff that PHM or CB hasn't hit. Red Solo Cup is going to become one of 'those' type of songs every KJ is going to hate....

I actually am a little disappointed in it. Call me anal, but there were some minor faults/errors in their reproduction of the song for the following lines: 1. " From barbecues, tailgates, fares and festivals" --- From should read " For" 2. "And you sir do not have a pair of" --- They left the last word out... " testicles" 3. "Freddie Mac can kiss my butt" --- Really???????? Do I even need to write the correct word here??? 4. "You are the Abbot into my Costello" --- Should read " unto"

I'm not that anal about a couple of minor wrong words and since it's the only version (except for the Fast Trax crap which doesn't count IMO) it's the best version out. They kept it clean for the reason they like to be thought of as family oriented. However the 'clean' radio version actually says vegetables instead of testicles, but Butt is still substituted for a##.

And Lonnie, yes... the FastTrax one does SABO.

metrolyrics isn't correct alot of times. It's all user submitted lyrics and if they think it sounds like the original they will change it.

As far as the unto vs into vs to, it's too minor to worry bout or about. Just sing it the way you think it should be, too late to fix & not worth nitpicking the little things IMO. At least it's available for karaoke~!!
