At this rate I will be approaching your collection soon. I would love to have the R&B set (I think about 25 total). One just got away from me on Ebay 3 weeks ago.

I know exactly which R&B Set you are referring to. It got away from both of us :)

I will start compiling my dupes. The bulk of mine are Chartbuster Dupes but I do have some Sound Choice. Would love to do some trades/exchanges or just buy up dupes from folks I don't yet have.

Just popping my green eyes into this thread, I thought I was doing well when I finally owned more than 2000 discs.

Most of the second hand stuff in the Uk are sunfly and legends, which I already have a lot of, I still waiting to find the disc owner selling up that brought protrax and soundchoice... but it was so rarely done this side of the pond :bawling:

Lonman, you are so right, however, I have a very large number of customers that bring in their CD's and want me to play them. On busy nights that is tall order at times, but if I have the exact song by the same Manufacturer I can play mine (usually from their history). If I have have it in their history it is guaranteed that it is the same exact song. So having more, in my case, saves me lots of work.

Will be adding another 120 disks to my collection for less than $100 (local purchase). There are a few dups but not many and the price is definitely right.

SC - 24 disks plus Foundation 1
CB - 5 disks
Pop Hits - 25 disks
Top Hit - 1
Pioneer - 6 disks
RCA - 1 disk
Pocket Songs - 2 disks
Party Tyme 16 disks
Radio Starz - 1 disk
MM - 38 disks
NuTech - 1 disk

I'll post another pic once I get them.

I do the same thing as I get alot of people that bring in their discs as well. If I have the same version, i'll just play from mine, otherwise I play it from their disc - the majority of singers that bring in discs use SC primarily, so chances are I already have it, if not, will try to custom it from Clark. If it's something that I think others would be interested in, i'll go ahead and look to get the song in the same version as well - if possible.
I was never one to purposely buy a bunch of stuff just to have a bunch of duplicates from different manus. Typically 1 is good enough, and if they want another version - then they can ask or bring in their own, otherwise generally there are no complaints. Now if I DO get complaints on a version I list - or even I think it warrants replacing because it is just that bad, I will look into replacing at that point, which I have done on occasion.
