I would have thought a login problem of that sort could have been solved in a day's time instead of the weeks he spent logging in under his second (?) account.

Actually, it is! A civilian cannot wear a BP vest in NJ! Even stupider: I have a permit to buy firearms - which are deadly- but I can't buy a stun gun or an extending baton (non-lethal) here. freakin' ridiculous..... If I keep my shuriken on my belt, they are legal ( I can hit ANYTHING with them), but if they are not visible, they aren't....
