He is from the Spokane area, if it's the same Al I have corresponded with, he owned a Brick & Mortar store. May be selling off NOS discs.

I'd love to buy the entire Monster Hits collection. I think they're decent. A couple of years ago I looked into it and they were hard to find and the collection was going for quite a bit of money. Now I don't see them available anywhere anymore.

What does "Factory Re-Manufactured" mean?

He is actually selling several different sets of the Monster Hits packages.

The re-manufactured part is what I wondered about.

Maybe I'm naive, but I don't neccesarily read factory re-manufactured as copies. The could have been used and then professionally resurfaced, for instance.

All guesswork- I have no real idea...

That would be my guess, too.

Well seeing that it says never been opened, the used thing might be out. I see remanufactured as possibly being pressed again - maybe some other manu bought them up & are redistributing? Or like the Dangerous sets, they aren't original but faked pressed discs? I bought one with Jackson Browne & Tom Petty #1123 (from this seller as a matter of fact last month) and it seemed like the real deal, but I don't have any other MH discs to compare them to. It is a pressed disc with real label, not an inkjet, paper or shotty looking label.

I would expect that to be: "factory reconditioned"
