Wow, what a great feeling to actually work at a venue where they understand the value of Karaoke, the great people it can bring in and the money that is sure to follow. Last Tuesday was our 1st show at our newest gig, they approached me with a very positive outlook & assured me they would do their part to promote it. And they did! News paper adds, radio adds, scrolled it on their digital banner our front and offered food & drink specials as well. We did our part too to get the word out. We only had 18 singers, but they had a great time as our total songs sung came in at 47. They pulled in around $2,000.00 with the help of the other people that came in to watch. I feel great about these totals for the very first night. Most all singers said they would definitely be back as they had a great time. It's so nice to work somewhere where YOU are appreciated and given the help, tools and freedom to make it happen.
Just thought I would post some positive around here since lately its been doom and gloom for some host and their venue's
