Traveling to LA on weekend of 17-20 May for Daughter's Veterinary School Doctorate graduation. Looking for a reputable(not a SHT-HOLE bar) place to take wife, kids for a night of karaoke. Any ideas??

If you're headed to a bar, are the "kids" twenty-one years or older?

The reason I ask is because the standard here is that anyone under the age of twenty-one, will have to leave the bar and/or restaurant no later than 10 PM. That gives the youngsters the first hour to be able to sing – and then it's game over.

I don't know what it's like in Los Angeles. Perhaps some of our California KJ's can chime in.
