Like I said think real hard ( I can trace my electronics via serial numbers....yes I do have them written down, and I have never needed them.....if I was used to being robbed I might go a step further and engrave my belongings in a hidden spot so I could identify them...like freinds I know that live in BAD areas) Blessings Athena Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahah, you very, very clearly don't know anything about DRM or how it's used. You think they embed "codes" into their files to trace them? It isn't DRM, it is digital watermarking. Serialized to the purchaser. CB did the same thing with the CB Hard Drives. -Chris But you're going to tell me they did the same thing with each individual song in the SC Gem Series? Because every time I've seen a pirated .rar, they've been full of pure, un-messed-with MP3+G's. If they hide digital watermarks in every single song on the discs, unique to one customer, then I can safely say they are in the financial s**tter because of the crazy. Digitally watermarking files is not an expensive process. Launch the Watermarking Application Provide a serial number Point the app to a directory with 6000 MP3's in it Press Go Go to Lunch -Chris

Roche Coach,
Please do not make up statements and attribute them as quotes. It is incredibly rude and shows a side of yourself that is not at all flattering
Blessings Athena .

-Chris That would absolutely create a watermark, but it wouldn't watermark each individual file, especially one as tricky as an MP3/CD+G file. kjathena wrote: Roche Coach,

Blessings Athena . I just translated your post into plain English. I didn't realize I was trying to flatter you.

Blessings Athena . I just translated your post into plain English. I didn't realize I was trying to flatter you. The application is designed to do exactly that. Apply a digital watermark to every file. I know because one of the CB12000+ drives that was shipped to me still had their watermarking application in the root. I played around with it for a while and used it against some test files. Every file in the directory I pointed it at had different bits than the originals. The whole point is to mark every single file so that it can be identified at a later time. -Chris

BruceFan4Life,
We have had no problems with the paid program ...once we realized we had to unzip all our files and then re-zip them. The only files they will not stamp is our converted LD files due to the videos. A fantastic $30 investment just in case anyone ever gets a hold of a copy of one of our drives. I can't see anyone going screen by screen on each track and removing the stamp....its too easy to just buy a pirated drive. I strongly suggest it to every host using converted files.
Blessings Athena

I just downloaded the demo again and tried it. I still have the same issue when I try to use it on my home made karaoke tracks. It seems to work on the few major brand tracks that I tried it on but not on the ones that I made myself and those are the ones that I would like to protect from others copying.

That's pretty sweet! Didn't know that software existed.

Blessings Athena Does it do just text? Or can a .JPG be added to the screen as well?
