Magic Technica made one my friends have they bought a couple of years ago. My wife likes the design because all of the song software is contained inside the microphone. While you can buy it off their site 400 dollars seems like a lot for a home machine. Also, it says NEW 2008, which was four years ago and their other product says sold out. To me it looks like a company that is going under. Also, none of their products are on Amazon which I like to buy from for peace of mind. Alll that being said, what are your recommendations for a preferably wireless but no mandatory, i would like at least 2 mics in the package.
Can I get such a product with a good rated company?

I don't think anyone here would recommend a "magic microphone".

This one looks okay that I have been reading about: Entertech ET19K Magic Sing Mic Karaoke Machine 2 Wireless Microphone & 2045 Songs Kind of stuff I was looking at before I became educated by the folks of this forum. That stuff is crap. Songs/versions are either crap too or illegal, or very expensive. Of course crap to one person could be valuable to another person. In this field it depends on your needs and of course preferences. Knowing what I know now, I would never buy anything like this. If you are looking to just goof around with friends occasionally, buy this (make sure the manufacturer assures you the songs are legal for you to own). If you are ready to step it up to something a little more "magical". Let us know, plenty of folks on here that can help you get an awesome system within your budget. Welcome to the forum!

JonMic,
Almost no one on this forum is going to recommend consumer level karaoke equipment, or even equipment actually branded as karaoke equipment.
Consumer level karaoke electronics are typically novelty items....toys like the guys posted above.
Also, almost everything marketed as pro-karaoke is overpriced and underfeatured when compared to the comparable pro-audio equipment. If you want your karaoke to sound like live music, you need to use the same equipment a live band would!
So, all that said, you probably aren't going to get a recommendation for the product you are talking about. It is definitely a novelty, consumer level electronic item.
For the same $400.00 or a tad less, though, you could invest in an entry-level small PA, some entry-level wireless mics, and maybe 100-200 legal classic and current karaoke tracks (if you have an available laptop/desktop PC to serve as the player).
If you are interested in that, let us know, and we can give some recommendations.

If you want a decent home system, I have a Iview-200pk player, never used. It will read CD+G as well as usb and a digital card. I will sell it cheap if interested. Combine this with a couple of microphones into a nice big HD T.V. (or whatever you have) and you have a very nice home set up. Just buy your CD+g's for home use at wal-mart, K-Mart, the local pawn shop or eBay etc.

You know what bites? I have a large Korean population in my area, but many of their tracks are only available for use with Magic toys.
