Hello folks,
It has been brought to my attention that some of you may have received an email or a PM from someone advertising their business or event.
This is NOT permitted.
If you request information from someone and they reply to your request that is fine. If someone has requested information via the forums and you are providing them with details, that also is acceptable.
However, unsolicited contact with members via this site to advertise your business or event is not allowed. If it is discovered that any member is using our membership to send this type of advertisement - their membership will be deactivated until they reply to our warning which will be sent to their email! - If it continues, they do not respond or it is believed to be continuing - that member will be BANNED!
We respect the privacy of our members and do not tolerate this type of behavior.
If anyone has any information or further details regarding this please PM me.
Thank you, and I again apologize if this caused any inconvenience to our members.

Phill - you are our hero. I got an email today on a topic of this nature, and from a member would rather stay at arms length ( and my arms are 10,000 miles long).
I will PM... I'm sure your warning will just rile him up all the more.

One other thing that I have noticed is that some members do not have an email address listed in their profiles.
THIS REQUIRED!
Please everyone make certain that your email is listed.
Check your profile.
<-- to the left Member Area
click "User Control Panel"
Then click "Profile Settings"
enter your email address.
Note: all emails are sent via the system. There is an email icon displayed below each of your posts.
If you do not want your email address to be used.
Find: "Always show my e-mail address:" in the preferences area.
Then select NO. This will not display the button.

Phil, I like most of the changes but, some of the color options are very difficult to read with the grey background. The light orange and light red such as used in your post is very difficult to read. Just my $.02 worth
