"Jackass" star Steve-O to host Killer Karaoke Show on TruTv mid-summer.

The show will feature contestants trying to sing a song while going through physical challenges. Hmmm, Interesting. Steve-O’s personality + karaoke + wild & outrageous antics in the background = I think will result in watchers’ negative feelings toward karaoke. Let's wait & see.

To be fortunate enough to derive an income from a source as fulfilling as karaoke music has got to be as close to heaven as we can get here on earth!

I doubt that the show itself will change anyone's opinion of karaoke, but I do see how the show might inspire an element of jackass imitators who will get drunk and hope to impress everyone in the bar with jackass antics. You know, the kind of stunts that require replacing a microphone and throwing someone out of the bar.
