Of course tomorrow is Father's Day so appropriate songs might be sung in honor of the day.

This year is also the bicentennial of the War of 1812, in which our National Anthem was written, and of course there is also the famous Battle of New Orleans from this war (actually fought in 1815, the last major battle of the war), so it is a great reason to sing Johnny Horton's The Battle of New Orleans.

I sing themes at least once a week.
It's a lot of fun. People are always trying to guess what my theme is for the night.
Holidays like this make it easier for them to guess.
