Would like recommendations on which are the best sites for downloading karaoke songs (price and quality)! Also, which karaoke software program is best for ripping Super CD+G? Thanks!

I don’t make a site distinction when looking for a song to download. It all comes down to song availability. But preferably, Select-A-Track, Tricerasoft, Karaoke Version, Karaoke Channel & All Star Karaoke in that order.

PowerKaraoke for ripping scdg. I use their PK Burner & it’s an excellent program. Use the demo trial before buying.

Haven’t tried this program yet but it has been recommended to me:
Karaoke File Converter http://www.kjamp.com/

Brian, I don't think you're allowed to use downloads from the Karaoke Channel at public shows. I believe the Karaoke Channel is owned by Sound Choice or one of their companies.

I don't think you're allowed using any downloads in public shows and KC is owned by Stingray Digital and SC sold them these tracks years ago..., so they own them

Stingray Digital is financially backed by Telesystem and Novacap. Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, the company has 200 employees in offices across Canada and additional offices in Los Angeles, and London, England. For more information, visit www.stingraydigital.com.

if you buy it from karaoke channel direct, you can not use it in the show. if you buy it through Select-A-Track, you can. weird, but true.

a newer player in the game is karaoketosing.com. already got confirmation from sunfly they are legit. great especially for foreign language.

I did not know that. Thanks, Stogie.

Doesn’t make any sense, but I’ll take your word for it. I downloaded a few (5 count) from the KC site. I will re-download from S-a-T site to be on the safe side. Thanks. :)
