Does anybody know what different karaoke versions there are of Whiter Shade of Pale, male or female? I know there is the traditional Procol Harem version. Also, I'd be interested to know if there are any versions in other languages, particularly Japanese (with Romanized lyrics), Spanish or German.

Best version i've heard to date is karaoke-version.com Musically spot on. Have heard almost all available brands including Chartbuster & Sound Choice - don't come close. Nikkodo, MM & Legends all blow.

Never seen (or looked for) other language versions.

I have it on Music Maestro MMRB03, Pocket Songs PS6040, Legends LG235, heard the SC disc and refused to buy it- all thanks to different singer preferences over the years. I think Chartbuster made a version too, but I've never heard it and can't comment on it.

In my opinion, Legends made the best version that I have heard so far, and I use it when a preference isn't given- with satisfactory results from the singers.
