I don't see any reason why one could not take a track purchased online, burn it to disc, and then, as part of the label, put the invoice/order number on the label as proof of purchase.

I just checked KaraokeVersion.com and SelectATrack.com and both maintain your history along with an order/invoice number.

Just Print the Following -

Track #1- Artist Title Order#
Track #2- Artist Title Order#
Track #3- Artist Title Order#
Track #4- Artist Title Order#
Track #5- Artist Title Order#

etc....

....Agreed, even though there would be more to it. I've brought this up a few times in the past, on different occasions, to different people. Even stamping/inking the tracks and keeping all of the records on a database by the manufacturer for future references. Obviously an agreement between the customer and manufacturer in the event holder ever decided to sell their "Home-Made/Label Marked/Ink-Stamped" CDG to someone else. Certain rules would apply. It would be somewhat similar to what SC does, "knowing where the Gem Sets are."

It has been a month since the last post. Any new news? Gonna try calling for more info. I too got screwed on the Chartbuster Drive and no longer have access to credits, but books printed with their catalog. It's fun having to explain to singers all the time why they can't do certain tracks.

If the service will only be streaming at $200/month, not interested. I have two shows, both of which have free wifi, that hardly EVER works. Streaming to me is useless. If you are allowed a certain number of downloads a month, it might be worth it.

Purpletib...the "cloud" product that is being released this month is "not for professional use/HOME USE ONLY" they are working on a "Cloud Pro" product but nobody seems to know when it will be available.

^^ That is my point. The PDF they mail out suggests that Cloud PRO was to be released a month ago. There is no other info available unless you can get a hold of one of the two people listed on the brochure or if someone here has gotten a hold of them to shed some more light. That is what I was getting at. No other info has been made available. Looking to see if anyone has heard anything or tried the service yet.

Purpletib,

My personal suggestion would be to take advantage of the good deals going on now on remaining CB stock available at many retailers. When the "Cloud Pro" will be available remains to be elusive and nothing has been said about lowering the cost from the prices listed of $200 a month pay as you go (or 100 a month if you pay a year or more in advance). My opinion is biased by my desire to own the music I use however not all hosts may feel the same.

You would of course need to update and reprint your books to reflect only the songs you have (instead of everything that was in CB library).
