I've had a customer ask for some Keith Urban, he's not a regular as he's always off travelling and the moment he said "can you get...." he quickly added "actually don't bother I'm only ever here every two months or so."

Regardless challenge accepted.

I already own...
I Told You So Keith Urban BH
Making Memories of Us Keith Urban BH
Stupid Boy Keith Urban BH
Tonight I Wanna Cry Keith Urban BH
Does He Love You Martina Mcbride And Keith Urban QH
Tryin' To Find A Reason Martina Mcbride and Keith Urban BH

Being in the UK, the two discs that are easiest to get are
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Karaoke-Keith-U ... 614&sr=8-1 (which I've never heard of)
and Sunfly all stars Keith Urban

I can also get the SC star series Vol 1, and Chartbusters karaoke gold but it comes in at twice the cost of the ones listed above.
Selectatrack is valid option, and I will use but try to avoid legal downloads (karaoke version).

My biggest problem, is I don't know which of his songs are popular to sing and which disc is likely to give me the best return for the cost....

So may I pick your brains???

Well, taking a look at the Custom Selection in All Star Karaoke's site, I would consider the following titles:

Days Go By
Kiss a Girl
Where the Blacktop Ends
You Gonna Fly
You Look Good in My Shirt

Another song I would consider from SelectaTrack.com is:
Without You

Would probably be best if the customer told you what they wanted. Only song we have had done is "Making Memories Of Us" (and our shows are 90% country).

*throws hands up in air* - You guy's were supposed to help me!!! What do ya mean no one sings Keith Urban!

I really thought he'd be more popular, oh well, unless someone jumps in with some solid suggestions I'll probably just grab the cheapest disc. Thanks for you help though.... If anyone wants advice on Robbie Williams tracks for a Uk customer let me know :)

Personally we do not get many of his songs sang( and we do have a couple heavy country shows)......I would most likely buy a all-star card from target.com and get whatever they have that you don't already own for the reasonable cost of 44 cents a song.... I'm sure you can find other songs to fill a custom disc.....a $20 card gets you (3 )10 song custom CD+G's. This is our method of buying songs that we don't think will get used much or flash in the pan songs. Just make sure you get the discs not the downloads to C.Y.A

I have 35 songs listed Keith Urban’s songs, ph, sc, cb, allhits, no repeats. Sorry to say none of those songs were requested or played. I have 30% country singers. A week ago I thought I would finally play one as a singer put in "I Told You So" on his request slip, no manu track #. I played it only to find he meant Randy Travis verse, not Keith Urban. I was disappointed. :) Artists that get lots of play: Toby Keith, G. Brooks, J.M. Montgomery, G.Strait, A.Jackson, in that order.

Out of curiosity if I ever visit the states are Brad Paisley tunes popular (to either sing or listen to).... cause that'll be the only modern country my other and half I can do well.

I can sing Before He Cheats... but I'm making an educated guess it's done to death on your side of the pond.

P.S. I'm off to buy the cheapest Keith Urban disc I can - Even if it's never sung at least I've done my best for the customer (Hopefully Start A Band will be on it  ).

Of the 7 or 8 Keith Urban songs I have the only one anyone has sung was Making Memories Of Us.

Marble,
We still get a number of Brad Paisley tunes sung at our more country shows. At one point before he cheats was sang to death but now that is not so much the case. If you get to Florida when you cross the pond....come sing with us :D
