Do a search on Icroons for CB and select disc search. There are 10,000 Chartbuster songs ready for purchase and download at Selectatrack. I am sure there are more too, 10,000 is the maximum search return and the search only covered thru the letter R, actually the first 5 songs by REM.

I think I found the problem...... Just did show them to me and shaking hands and both speed the chartbuster logo at the end. At the front they show karaoje cloud, but the final logo was cb. Oops.......

I figured out that you can view all 12,000+ on just 2 different searches. On one type "CB0" (that's a zero),and on the other type "CB1". The same trick works with other brands.

They are gone now folks! As fast as they appeared, they have been pulled off the site... I guess it might have been a bit troublesome for Digitrax to be spouting off about licensing and doing things by the book etc... Then taking the CB catalog and putting it up on a site like Selectatrack. I mean, here you have Digitrax with roughly 3000 of 12000 CB tracks available and presumably licensed for cloud (the rest obviously not cleared) putting the whole catalog up on a UK site that is playing fast and loose with the MCPS licensing scheme for Europe. I mean, how do you suppose Universal Music must feel right about now? They are in litigation with Norbert at the very same time that the content is being made available on a site that is actively marketed to the US! Just do a google search for karaoke downloads and look at the ads!
My guess is that somebody at Digitrax had a fit when they realized what a boneheaded move they made and told Selectatrack to get the tracks off the site pronto! I wouldn't be surprised if Selectatrack comes under some serious scrutiny by the US publishers and the MCPS for allowing their licensing scheme to be gamed like this.....

If you had bothered to read the preceding posts you would know how to find all 12,000 + Chartbuster tracks on Selectatrack.

got a response from select a track......
"Unfortunately Digitrax requested we temporarily remove the tracks due to some issues with some of the tracks. (the Chartbuster logo still shows on quite a few of them in the middle or end of the track.) We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused, it's very embarassing for us but we are hoping they will have it sorted out soon as it is a great catalogue."
so there you go, it's just temporary until they get the files cleaned of the CB logos.

Whatever the reason now they have disappeared from the site completely. The Icroons links no longer work and the two tracks I added to my basket have gone blank. I do hope this is only temporary. CB tracks are still appearing on Proburn search though.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense Curious they were advertising it as Chartbuster and using Chartbuster codes, but had to take down all of them because a few used the CB logo? Seriously? I think DG overlooked how focused Selectatrack is on selling over here and that was the issue. If they were just gonna be sold in Europe nobody (publishers) would be any wiser.... It just seems rather unlikely that DG would go to the trouble to rebrand the tracks - but they missed a few logos... when that is the one thing they needed to change!

I just did a search from my phone using the instructions in the posts above and I'm still coming up with 12,000 plus chartbuster songs.

I did get a few CB tracks downloaded from Select-a-track before they were withdrawn and have a couple that are karaoke cloud/ChartBuster dual branded with Digitrax copyright info. I'll hang onto these as a reminder of the error. If only I had ordered them on disc they might have become desirable in future. Nevertheless, I eagerly anticipate these tracks returning to Select-a-track, I just hope they are true to their word as they said in their message to Paradigm.

I emailed Latshaw about this and they said they got an apology email from their contact at Digitop this morning explaining that they had to take the chartbuster tracks down, but that the catalog file that iCroons uses to create the selectatrack portion of the database hasn't yet been updated on selectatrack's site and they're waiting for that to happen. When I further inquired about why, they said that Selectatrack was just as surprise about this and embarrassed because they had just got them up on their site and emailed all their customers when Digitrax decided to pull the plug, and said they don't know when or if they will ever return.
When I first saw the Chartbuster tracks on there, to me it was a clear sign that there was trouble in the karaoke cloud if they needed to generate revenue by offering tracks in the one distribution method that totally went against what they were doing. This just tells me that there's even more trouble in the karaoke cloud because obviously they're making frantic moves and no one is clearly in charge.

so there you go, it's just temporary until they get the files cleaned of the CB logos. I got the same email pretty much. I was able to get a few tracks I needed though the first day on a custom disc.

I think they just overlooked that by putting up all of their tracks that they don't have licenses for (approx 9000) and therefore not on the cloud - on to a UK site it would not go unnoticed. I suppose Selectatrack was happy to have them since they market so heavily here. Clearly a bad move for DT and even worse for Selectatrack. Customers can't be happy and the whole episode draws attention to their US percentage of sales which MCPS is probably unaware of.....
