Last year I posted a few pictures of my set up.

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=23478

Since then, I purchased two new cases, traded my Yamaha board in for an Allen and Heath board, more fully integrated my Denon DJ controller into the mix, purchased uplighting, and generally neatened things up. So I thought I'd share.

Uplighting is a simple, but effective way to dramatically enhance what you are doing. Its easy to set up and control, and the look is breath taking, and will quickly set you out from the pack, and establish you as a professional... and probably get people inquiring to you about private parties. You can really go crazy with it, and its a lot of fun!

The first set of pictures is the set up in a small venue:
Here is the new front:

And the back view:

Here's the view with the lights and a singer! You really can't see how dramatic this is since they aren't blinking in time with the beat of the music:

Finally, Here's the set up... at The Mallet, with my new DJ Facade. The karaoke monitor is to the left, on stage... note that I've moved everything from the dance floor as suggested:

Thanks for looking!

Hey Rip... I made mine.... for around $100 in materials, out of pvc tubing no less. No complex tools other than a hot glue gun, an exacto knife, a small saw, wire ties, and a few other things. I'll have to do a how to in the technical section some time.
