on our local news channel here in south eastern washington state, clarkston washington to be exact....

the local sheriff was interviewed and he said...

even though pot was now legal at the state level, it's still illegal at the federal level and his office would be obligated to report all violaters to the feds.....

If you're going to go with that one, you at least have to go with the R rated original version "Pass The Kouchie" by The Mighty Diamonds instead of "Pass the Douchie" by Musical Youth where all of the weed references are removed for radio play and replaced with food references!!

"How's it feel when you got no food" vs. "How's it feel when you got no herb."

I guess once you've figured out your lack of herb problems, it's time to start worrying about the food.....

I'll be singing the 2 songs that Bruce Springsteen has been singing a lot at benefit concerts for the victims of Superstorm Sandy here on the east coast. Maybe some of you nice people can pick up the phone while you're waiting for that joint to get passed around; and make a donation to the American Red Cross.

Who says that hasn't been done. We had a big drive at our club for a friend of ours as well that lives in NYC and sent him back alot of clothing and non-pershible food.

I wish I could but can’t do it. Place I host is a family restaurant. Can’t imagine little girls asking “Dad, what’s Kouchie mean”. “I don’t know, ask your Mommy”.

I coudn't find it in a karaoke track but it should be on the wish list for these two states now.
"Don't Bogart That Joint"

Actually, it's Don't Bogart Me. I listed it up there.

I think RLC is referring to a similar title “Don’t Bogart That Joint” covered by Little Feat & Country Joe & the Fish.

“Don’t Bogart Me” from the movie Easy Rider. The two quintessential hippie bikers. I think I wanna go up to Seattle, ride my bike with my friends, pass the Dutchie (or couchie) & recapture the good old glory days.

Excellent choice. Another one added to my repertoire. "No, no, no, no, I don't smoke it no more, I'm tired of waking up on the floor, No thank you, please, it only makes me sneeze, And then it makes it hard to find the door."
