Virtual DJ has a very nice video mixing feature with some cool effects... so its fun to beat mix, and blend the videos together as well... thus, a bit too busy to get distracted by the video... though, the dancing curves on the floor can be.

But you are right... there is a big difference in the energy with lights versus without.

I don't think it's dead I go to bars where they have karaoke and the place is always packed sometimes you can't even find a place to sit
and sometimes people do karaoke so they can bone up on their songs before trying out for
shows like American Idol and x-factor and The Voice
and for some people to say that karaoke is dead well they probably went to sites like
singsnap.com where they think they own all the rights to every single karaoke on the universe those staff members over there pick their favorite members and let them do practically anything insult other members call them fat and ugly and tell them they can't sing even has a guy impersonating Simon Cowell and he's the one who's doing the insulting and bullying of beautiful singers telling them they can't sing just because they don't sing the song like the original artist sings it .
I wrote one time on my page on there that I was depressed from all the damn bickering and fighting and name calling and bullying of some members who are just on here for fun and no other reason , and that the staff picks favorites and lets their favorites single out members who put links of other members on the board and say this person cannot sing when the only reason why they think they cannot sing is because they don't sing the song like the original artist and that's bullshit .
went away for a week then I came back and signed in and found I was suspended for breaking the code of conduct unbecoming a singsnap member.
and those sob's has been screwing with me every since i got suspended
because they don't want their suspended members on the internet singing from any other site but theirs
but I keep on going for one thing I don't like bullies and I hate people that try and tell you what to sing where to sing it and how to sing it god i hate that .

so now I get my songs from a Awesome site called Karafun.com and also sometimes I sing on the karaoke channel online.com and I get song tracks from selectatrack.com

i'm addicted to that site almost broke my bank account on the songs they have
and as for zoom,
I think singsnap.com is associated with zoom , sometimes they have good tracks and sometimes they don't
the classic rock tracks like Journey and others like that I'm not too fond of don't like quality of the music

and another thing about singsnap.com
I have friends on singsnap.com and some are still there and when I go to listen to them
I find I am blocked from viewing their songs especially one friend of mine who I was and still am very good friends with , I can view other people's videos and songs but none of my friends they blocked my ip adddress on each and every one of them including my one friend on there who I am very fond of .
so in my opinion Karaoke isn't dead it just got some bad people involved in it
who think they are god's gift to the karaoke world

Me thinketh LadyMatika has an issue with singsnap.com.

you think? I wish he would post a song in the singers showcase so we could from an opinion as to why he feels that way.

got a tiny bit of issues with singsnap
one i used to be a member and 2 years ago when I was on singsnap I had a youtube channel , and I put my videos from singsnap on youtube
well when singsnap staff found out about it they went into youtube had a admin let them into my account and took off every single one of my videos including 3 videos that I had from bix , and singshot and ksolo these sites are not on any more
and I cannot get them back and the videos were of my nephew and at the time
he was 4 years old and trying to sing like his auntie
and back then you got stars instead of likes and he was a big hit back then not just
because he could sing he was 4 years old he couldn't sing that good but because he was so darn cute at trying to sing .
and also they had the admin try and ban me from youtube
and the staff wouldn't let them and didn't think it was right what singsnap did so they let me have another youtube account and got me on another karaoke site and the rest is history , what hurt me about singsnap staff doing that is they could of just asked me and I would of taken the videos down but they didn't they went behind my back and had the admin working in their plot as I call it , what would you call it the admin that helped them
he got fired , he no longer works for youtube .
that's just one of the issues I got with singsnap other than the fact that they pick favorites and let them run singsnap and treat other members like dogs
that's my second issue and you can tell who the favorites are , cause they have youtube videos and also they win singsnap's contests and challenges every single time

I've heard worse insults coming from singsnapsucks.com members
on my youtube videos reasons for that is they were pissed off because
I am still on the internet singing when they though singsnap staff got me to quite singing
ever since I got suspended in may from singsnap I've had loyal members of the staff of singsnap coming on to my youtube videos insulting me yelling at me trying to bully me
and intimidate me into quitting .
all just cause I can still sing the same songs and put up the same songs that I sang on singsnap and put them on youtube using another karaoke site .
cause every single one of the members of singsnap are being told that singsnap is the best karaoke website on the planet .
and I went last night and listened to some of the song tracks on karaoke cloud and I must admit some of their song tracks are better than singsnap's
and if singsnap owner and staff get wind of this they will make trouble in every way shape or form for karaoke cloud just like the did for 2 other sites I was a member of who suddenly kept getting the lic board messing with them until suddenly they quite .
and the one owner of one of the sites told me , that somebody from singsnap did in fact turn him in because he told them that his songs were stolen and he had just gotten out of being sued because he had to go to court for it .
and he knows there was 5 members of singsnap who were members of his karaoke site and I told him you know I wouldn't do a thing to you man and he said yeah I trust you matty it's the other fellow singsnappers who were on here I suspect of treason towards me .
and he showed me the names of those singsnappers and sure enough he was betrayed by (@$%&#!) kissers of singsnap staff .
and I'd probably get sued if I mentioned their names because they love taking to court and suing suspended members of singsnap .
if you go to pissed consumer.com and look up singsnap.com , or manthissitesucks.com
you would see how every single petty comments and fights that singsnap follwers go through every where a suspended member goes an bitches about singsnap there a follower of singsnap is right behind them like they have a tracer on their computer or something fighting with the suspended members calling each other names acting like immature children fighting at high school

It wasn't an insult, or at least it wasn't meant to be. What you describe reminds me dead on of a badly run karaoke show. Host plays favorites, crowd has their favorites, singers get skipped and get pissed. The KJ doesn't mix your song like he does others as he starts a song and goes off to talk to his buddies. yada yada yada...

oh ok then I aplogize
and also for going on and on about singsnap told myself last night I would't
do that no more on here and here I gone and done it again
think I need to go talk to a shrink about my anger towards them

Don't worry about it, feel the same way about Best Buy, Karaoke Warehouse and Chauvet.

Makes me wonder... how many millions of dollars of late fees are going to be issued/paid by January?

I have been kidding my girlfriend whose birthday happens to be December 22nd. I told her that I am getting her a brand new car, to be delivered on the 23rd.

Ahh... one thing they didn't know about was to factor in leap years. Taking those into account, the world actually ended a few months ago. I think we all missed it!
