Is Singer Solutions a Legit CDG? Or is Allstars a safer bet? These 2 seem to be taking up the slack in the middle of the karaoke mess We want to stay with plastic as long as we can.

I would suggest using all-star. there are deals to be had on pre-pressed releases and you cant beat the cost for customs at 44 cents per track using the e-cards from Walmart.com/ Personally don't trust Singer Solutions based on what I have read on the forums

Here’s the cd I ordered from them. You be the judge. No inner code markings, plain silver cd, no fancy graphics background, I think it is. Never again! Disregard handwritten numbers. Denotes it’s my 2,429th cd. Attachment:

Singer's Solution is just Fast Trax renamed... And Fast Trax looks like it was made in the back of someone's garage. The word-swipes were done poorly; however, the music could be considered passable.

"Rolling in the Deep" I pick the FT version over CB, for sound quality of instrumentation.

Actually- and this is scary- I think Party Tyme (Sybersound) does a better job than either All Star or Singer's Solution/Fastrax/Quik Hits. Also, to my knowledge, they haven't ever been sued by the publishers/owners ( a rarity for mfrs).
They are also still available in regular department stores.
They did a nice job with Rolling In The Deep and Call Me Maybe, and they stay current.
IMHO, of course. Your mileage may vary......

The Party Tyme discs aren't too bad actually (far better than I thought they'd be). I agree it's nice that they tend to offer current songs too.

I just stumbled onto this post after having bought a few Fast Trax and Singer's Solution discs on ebay... These songs on these discs are all the exact same tracks that karaoke version sells! If you happen to have one, compare it to the sample that is on the KV site.... The only difference is they are compressing the audio or something as the KV samples are much clearer - but it is definitely the same music and the background singers.
Looks like these guys are paying for downloads, firing up their favorite authoring program and presto! You have a new release!
Has anybody else noticed this??

Has anybody else noticed this?? Not news. Quik Hits = Fast Trax= Singer's Solution. Fast Trax even used Quik Hits Disc numbers, and Singer's Solution labels look like Fast Trax labels.

Not news? I haven't seen anything in any post that mentions that the songs on Quik Hits = Fast Trax= Singer's Solution is actually from Karaoke Version... Did I miss that somewhere? If so my apologies...

Well, now that you mention… I didn’t believe you at first so I pulled my Singer’s Solutions cd & compare it to Karaoke Version tracks. I’ll be a son-*****. Each & every one, exactly the same, background singers, arrangement, instrumentatation et al! Singer’s solution cds got to be legit if being endorsed by USKA (u.s. karaoke alliance). http://www.uskaraokealliance.com/USKAMe ... Offer.htmlIf that’s the case why even bother downloading newly released tracks from kv @ $3.43 when uska is offering singer’s solutions’ two cds pop & country for $22 (subscription). That’s only like $1.23 per song. Hmmmm! Something to consider.

There is no way they could be legit.... Not with a retail of between 6.99 and 9.99 per disc. I am gonna send a message to Karaoke Version and see what they have to say... I'd be willing to bet that they have never heard of these guys and will be none too pleased to discover that as soon as they release a track it is being added to a newly created compilation for sale on a burned disc.
And if KJ's haven't figured this out till now, I would doubt USKA knows about it either!
