I believe that is the New England/Kennedy pronunciation.

So, there you have it, folks. The word pampas defined. Using it in a sentence based on item c. – “I would like to pampa La Bamba”.

Speaking in "plain language" doesn't have to be insulting and you were obviously OBVIOUSLY insulting to the op who told his story without using insulting, rude and vulgar terms. And my knowledge of the English language is about 100 times better than yours, even you said it, you don't use "flowery terms", my boy!
Now I'm done with it, if you want to continue to show your ignorance, have at it, I won't respond any further to your posts. I never said anything about you "knowledge" of the English language. I said you have some problems with the English language, meaning that you have issues with certain words. George Carlin made a career out of talking about language and how certain words are maligned, through no fault of their own. Whether you say sucks, or gloat, or anything else, it's all just words. The "F" word is ONLY vulgar because someone said it's vulgar. Someone picked it out of all the other words in the language and decided it was a dirty word. Did you know the original meaning of the "F" word was "to hit". Of course, society perverted it into what it means today, then decided to brand it a vulgar word. Pretty sad, if you ask me.

I understood the OP point completely and did not take it as Smooth did. I get asked this quite often actually and the looks I get are ones of disbelief. I also get told I OVERKILL Karaoke and that I do not "NEED" to have the equipment I do. While it is true, I could do my job with lesser quality, why would I? I tell them this....I purchase what I consider to be the best in sound and performance that I can afford to give my customers the best Karaoke experience I can provide. While you can go to several shows in town with much simpler set ups, you can be the judge where you sound the best and where you have the most fun, that is your choice. In no way is the OP snobby IMO, just an answer to people that think its cheap and easy to make a buck

Then I look at their stuff and I can see why they say that.

What's scary about some of the KJs is that they don't know how bad their cheap stuff sounds.....
