does anyone know the quality of these tracks? How do they stack up against the regular CDG's?

They work fine for me. You will have some naysayers here who will brow beat you for using them, saying that they are illegal copies, but until that is proven, myself and my customers will enjoy singing off them.

If it works for you then use it Smoothedge, there is always going to be someone that to tell you can't do something, if every person listened to them, humanity would make little progress.

Same here. The quality is marginal @ 192kbps, but they do contain songs/versions unavailable elsewhere.

Yeah, I got a JVC single tray off a friend of mine. That is fine for me, since most of my stuff is computerized. I only play my SC discs in the player.

Oh sorry, nobody answered your original question......they are about the same thickness so when stacked up.....an equal number of DK cdgs will be about the same height as the height of the same number of SC & other manus cdgs.... :)

I have to think Smoothedge that you do not play the SC dics at your show, since you wouldn't want to display the SC logo in public. Your SC would be for you privately right? Have a nice day.

I do use them in show, but I am the only one who sings off them, usually. I bought some for the show I ran back in 2004-2005. The rest are my own choice discs that I have been singing off of for years. Mostly Headbangers and specific band discs. I'm not too worried about showing the Logo because I use the player for them, and only them, and my buddy's discs when i run his show. My system isn't in a box, so it's easy to see what I am doing. My discs are laid out on a table, and I set up on another table. I ran that old show out of a box and hated it.
