We had our first official trial run last night at our new 13,000 sq. ft. Venue. Spent 5 hours yesterday with sound engineers dialing in the system, it was well worth it. The venue is set up for live bands, huge stage & lighting etc. with a large sound system. I invited a small group of singers to come work out the bugs, it was a huge success. I brought along the song books but urged everyone to take advantage of their wi-fi enabled smart phones/tablets etc. Once we got a few people dialed in on how to set that up, they helped others and before long everyone had a song book on their person, was logging in, adding songs to their favorites list, signing up to sing, changing the pitch and tempo to suit their needs and LOVING it. Big smiles and numerous times we were told how this technology was great and they loved that they had control of "their" show.

We use Kjams for our Macbook pro. There are a few apps for it (wi-fi log in, song selection etc.) but the one that works well and is free is wtkjams in the app store. Android users can also log in etc. but for now that is entered into your browser and then your in. They are working on an actual app for Android as well.
