I would have added Friends In Low Places, You Never Even Called Me By My Name, and Delilah to that list.All very long, slow songs that seem to go on forever.

Possibly also You Oughta Know, Set Fire To The Rain, and What's Up, all of which are good songs but seem to compete to replace Bobby McGee as the song that gets shouted instead of sung.

What a moaning minnie that guy is. The devil went ...is sung by the missis and her mate, brilliantly I might add. Boots is a fav of another singer who does it well. Paradise is long but I think me and the missis carry it off ok. Strangely I don't get many Sinatra (Frank) requests.

I still say it depends more on the singer than the song. I love almost all of these songs and have enjoyed a range of versions from excellent on down. I've never had anyone mind an excellent version of ANY song.

I think the question should be rephrased to "What karaoke songs are sung by the average to below average singers the most". I think this would be a pretty accurate list.

I could add "Live like you are Dying" to the list only because the guy that did it regularly butchered the crap out of it. But the rest of the story is, he's a cancer survivor so any time he wanted to sing it, it was a go and everyone else would just have to deal with it. It's funny, you can get used to butchered versions...

This whole topic would surely seem subjective.....but most people on here think they set the pace.....

ps......I take back the "most".......replace that with many people on here.....
