Got another one:

"Nights are Forever"-Jennifer Warnes

(I haven't heard this song in eons, but it popped into my head for some reason and I thought it might be a good one to sing)

Wow, Black Lab's "Wash it Away". Totally forgot about that til someone here said it. Not only would I love for that to be on karaoke, I'm going to go online and buy the MP3 now. It would get sung every night, by me if no one else if I had a karaoke version.

I would also second anything from the Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, STP, Alice in Chains genre that is either:
1) A hit track (or moderate hit) but hasn't been produced for karaoke.
2) A poorly crafted track for karaoke.

Ultimately, as much as we all may have our own favs, bottom line is it must sell. I think well crafted hits from this genre and a few other genres are what would sell. Remember, it's not what you as a producer like, but rather what your target audience will purchase $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I know there are quite a few INXS songs available for karaoke, but what about "Shine Like It Does"? Let's hope that "if you're looking, you will find it." :D

Sit Down I Think I Love You by the Mojo Men. There's a Buffalo Springfield version, but I dig the MM better.

Also, I have never located "Won't You Be My Number Two?" by Joe Jackson

From my old techno days I would love to see New Order's " Vanishing Point " and " Round and Round " from their Technique CD.

Lisa Stansfield-Im Leaving . (This dance track was so good, with a great vocal melody, and I am amazed it hasn't been released as a karaoke track already.)

I just discovered this topic.. a few years ago, I had a bucket list of a couple hundred songs I wished would be released.. and then the Music Gods allowed me to build my own tracks..

My choice would be Leavin You by The Scorpions..

and How Can I Refuse by Heart, which I am attempting to make at the moment..

I don't think the OP even comes here anymore. This thread alone is 4 years old.
