To sell or not to sell....
Well, prices for music won't go any higher. Those of use who paid $15-$20 per disk will never recoup that. However, there was a time not long ago when we would have. Thanks to the manu's flooding the market on their way out, and now the likes of Karaoke Cloud, even the Gem series - our disks aren't worth near as much as they once were.
But!
It is what it is. You can jump out and recoup some of your investment, or you can keep on keepin' on. If you do jump out, what will you then do with the money? Will it generate as much revenue as your karaoke business would have? If so, then you'd be better off selling. If not, you'd be better off staying in the business. Each individual will have different situations or scenarios, and the answer will vary depending on each individual's circumstances.

I've recouped my investment 10 fold if not much more over the years of it working. Were I to sell it all today, I could probably get 10K for all. Not worth it. It will still be available for my enjoyment, any parties I might want to host, and even an occasional private show when I want.

That's World Wide Internet Television, which, like Rabbit TV, has a clickable menu for accessing websites of global TV stations that show live and recorded programming. Producing your own disks is highly illegal, but if you are pulling the lyrics off and using the original track it sounds like total crap. There's no such software to make QUALITY song. That is not to say you can find a midi recording... but the over compressed music is hardly fit for PA produciton.

I was trying to branch out into doing some Assisted Living shows but found my set up was not what it needed to be as far as effectiveness. For one, I'm disc so set up time was a bit longer and when they have just one big room and need to fit you in between lunch and bingo you need to be able to get in and get out. Also, many did not want to sing individually but wanted to so a sort of group sing along--and the TV monitor was too small for that. So a giant screen TV or projector screen would be a necessity--or perhaps something mounted on the back of the wheel chair and you move through the crowd? Also, the song preferences were not what you might expect--they wanted Hank Jr. Just thought I'd throw that in.
