I seen people asking about the status on the lawsuit against the Karaoke Kandy Store
(Lightyearmusic). I see that they are still selling on ebay, have several websites, etc.

Does not look like anything is being done about them. I spoke to someone that bought from them recently and they said that they got homemade looking karaoke disc from them and did not care because it was such a great price.

This is why everything is so screwed up. You got people throwing lawsuits around and nothing can be done to a big retailer. Makes me think we should all be pirates and just set sail. The few good karaoke host that have paid so much money for legit disc are
basically being spit on in this market.

I do agree with some of the post in here. SC is not interested in cleaning up the market, that's not their job.. They just want to make some money back that they lost.
But for those of you that have all the disc and anyone comes at you with a lawsuit without doing the proper research, I suggest you file a counter suit for your trouble.
That's BS.

I will ask the question too. Has anyone heard anything else about the lawsuit against that retail store?

this ruling has been reversed by the appelate court on 3/6/2013.
