and for people who don't use the cloud, the tracks are available at i-tunes if you don't need graphics or can make your own.

Bruce,

I am a little confused by your post. You do not have to have a subscription to purchase tracks from the Karaoke Cloud.

I just wanted to make sure that was clear.

but i-tunes will always be around. Chartbuster/Digitrax might not be and my purchases might not be available to me any longer.

What she is sayin is you can DOWNLOAD for keeps. So they will always be yours once you purchase them - even if Digitrax stopped offering anything, you still have what you bought & downloaded. Just like i-tunes.

That is exactly what I mean. Thanks Lonman. I apologize if I have not made myself clear.

If my computer crashes and I lose all of my downloaded songs, I have all of the confidence in the world that APPLE will still be in busines and I will be able to re-download everything I have ever purchased from i-tunes. I don't have that same confidence in the long term viability of Digitrax. What if CAVS investigates them and finds out that they are just a shell corporation that Chartbusters is hiding behind and they declare bankruptcy again and screw over people that had purchased credits for songs on a locked hard drive. I'm sorry but Digitrax will always be synonymous with Chartbuster to me; just like Sweet Georgis Brown will always be All Hits to me. At least SGB had never been known to threaten their customers with law suits so I wouldn't be afraid to buy their products.

Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us.

i-tunes backs them up for me... and I prefer the way that I make karaoke graphics more than the way that ChartBuster makes theirs and my guess would be that the same guy who made the CD+G Graphics for Chartbuster is the samr guy doing the same job for "digitrax".
