It's all such B.S. It's time the U.S. gets with the program and change the laws to match countries with more simple laws. All this talk about free markets and this country has to create a situation where it is illegal to download music from a different country. What a crock!! With stuff like this going on, and all the gridlock in Washington, and all the nonsense going on in the different states I am almost ashamed to call myself an American.
Couldn't agree with you more Smoothedge69. Whether it is the American legal system or the music industry to blame for all this red tape, the powers that be need to get their heads out of their arses and end this nonsense once and for all. Perhaps if there weren't all these legalities (so confused and obfuscated even THEY probably don't know what they are talking about), many American manufacturers and other businesses would still be trading? Surely too much legislation is having a converse effect on reducing piracy, with the law breathing down the neck of the honest KJ while the rogues just don't give a damn anyway?
For the record, I am neither a KJ nor a USA resident, and getting my favourite songs on karaoke can be rather an expedition, so I really feel for the KJs on this Forum. I'd be pulling my hair out if I was trying to host a karaoke show in the States.
