Hello All!
I know that some of you don't care to hear about this but, we are going to start an audit process for all that are interested. It will take about a month to get up an running. We will be putting a website together that lists all of the Certified CB and DigiTrax KJs.
If this is something you would be interested in please PM me or send me an email.
If this is something you would NOT be interested in please no negativity. We are getting A LOT of requests for audits so we are working on putting that new program in place right now.

Hey Gretchen, do I need to certify my Dave Matthews disc??
How long with the new certifications be good for?? Personally, I think yearly audits are a bit much. Will those of us that download from DTE have to certify, or do you know who owns those tracks??
Thanks.

Thanks. Smooth, The choice of if you want to do the audit is up to you. We are not strong arming anyone into getting Certified. It is for peace of mind. Your one CB disc is fine. If you would like to certify your DTE tracks we can do that. We cannot certify any other manus other than the CB and DTE brands. If you have any other questions please let me know. -Gretchen

The Lone Ranger wrote: 8) I can see where DTE should be auditing their own brand, shouldn't CB auditing be done by WWD/PR, since they are the ones filing suits on questionable old CB product? do you still really think that DTE & PR LLC are different entities? must not be if DTE can offer the audit for the CB disc's. that aside, I would be interested in getting a certification of my CB disc's only got about 400 or so...

Smooth,
As long as you are complying with the 1:1 ratio you are fine.
I work hand in hand with PR. They are a separate company. Both DTE and PR have hired someone to take care of the Audits for them since they are so lengthy.
Since I am familiar with both CB and DTE they asked me to get the word out there and help with the auditor any way that I could.

As far as that goes...all it would take is a contract signed by those who own the rights to have anyone do audits....all the Manus (SC,CB new PR, Stellar, SF,Zoom and even Pioneer,JVC and MM et al ) could have a central agent do audits IF they could all agree on the details.

That was just a rumor started here on the forum. As for the audit itself, while I have no need of it, I see no problem with it as long as one is not required to sign documentaion similar to the life/business/legal give away that SC requires, and that the audit is completely VOLUNTARY- that is, no use of PR to push it. Under those two conditions, I figure whatever makes the KJ happy.....

We allow a one to one ratio for discs and digital systems. As far as the KJMP, there are no requirements needed to start with that program. You just need the compuhost software, and the KJMP and you are good to go. If there is anything else I can help you with please let me know. Thanks, Gretchen"

That is the only way I see to rid this industry of those who STEAL and cause harm to all involved.

Sorry, but it's a waste of money. I don't need an audit to do the right thing.

Smoothedge, I have no reason to think you do.....but the majority do. You, yourself at one point were ready to just buy a HD and you changed your mind after finding out why you shouldnt and what could happen if you did. I agree it is not fair to have to pay for others actions. I do not like having to remove my shoes and wait in horrid lines when I fly either, just because others have committed acts of terrorism

I was told by the former owner of CB that they did in fact own SGB. It turns out that is NOT the case. DTE does NOT own SGB. When CB went under I investigated further. I apologize for all of the confusion.
