Al Clark told me in an email he sold off his equipment and IS IN FACT closing down. No more custom discs which includes his Proburn site (PRoburn IS Clark Music's). Now if he sold that site to the company that he sold the equipment to remains to be seen. Also Proburn was in fact Al Clark - not UK, but Austraila. And if anybody ever looked at the copyright info on the bottom of the Proburn page

Just to keep it straight for you Lonnie... Al Clark is shutting down his Pro Burn operation. I am a regular customer of Pro Burn in the UK. A little more info for you - Pro Burn was started by the guy who owns EZ Karaoke. He still does. Al's site prominently displayed the EZ logo among others and also said it was licensing the tracks through MCPS - which Pro Burn does.

Just don't want other Pro Burn customers to get the impression that the 40 or 50 retailers offering Pro Burn or Pro-Burn (however you want to search it on Google) that the service is closing down as that is simply NOT the case. As for Sunfly site being accessable? It is for me at the moment... but who knows how long?

You are correct Brad, and this is what I suspected. However, on closer inspection, when I mouse-over a link from the supposed SelectKaraoke site I see, the address shown at the bottom of my browser is indeed prefixed with http://[...]selectatrack.com/[...] The only difference is my address bar which retains the http://selectkaraoke.com/ address I typed in, and the title bar which reads "SelectKaraoke - Select MP3+G Karaoke - Mozilla Firefox". What I see below that is the Slect-a-track website in its entirety. (I hope this clarifies it a bit more Lon).

I do hope Brad you are correct about Proburn. While Select-a-Track has thrown me a lifeline by offering Digitrax, the loss of Proburn would be tremendous in terms of getting custom dics with brands such as DK, Priddis, IK etc and others that I do not know of any other website that offers them.

I can still access the UK sunfly site....but have no idea if they will honor a US address without placing an order and do not need any SF tracks currently
http://sunflykaraoke.com or Http://singsunfly.com?

So in a nutshell, it's just the Australian Proburn (forget the exact URL) that is closing, and the likes of http://proburn.com (based in Scotland) and http://proburn-karaoke.co.uk are not affected by this?

I just got an email from Al and he confirmed ProBurn will be continuing, along with adding more manus soon.

I can also confirm it for you Lord... I got an email from Easy Karaoke and they emphatically stated that Pro Burn in UK is not going anywhere....

Thanks for the updates Lon and Brad. It will be exciting to see which manufacturers appear. Ideally I'd love to see Sound Choice but somehow I don't see it happening since they were on there a few years ago but for some reason got pulled. Although DK disappeared and then returned after a while...

I just spent a few minutes trying to login to selectatrack (now selectkaraoke), and I'm not recognized. So my $90 worth of credits are unclaimed for the time being, perhaps forever.... AWESOME.

Thanks! Do I send an email to selectkaraoke? Or do you have the contact info for selectatrack perhaps?

You need to re-register with selectkaraoke, your selectatrack login/password will not work - it's not the same site. So if you had credits at selectatrack, you may very well be out of luck. You might want to contact them. sales@selectatrack.com

Sounds like they're making things more complicated for their international customers than they need to be. People don't like that..

does anyone else find the humor in that you can buy all the UK brands after the "embargo", but not DTE or PS...the two U.S. based companies that SAT sells?
