True, but there are lots of variables that caused that. Changes to import costs and having to set up factories here are probably a big part of that. I imagine the big three had a little bit to do with that.
Translating that to karaoke laws\prices, I wonder if domestic karaoke industry influences had anything to do with a few of the import sites being blocked in the US? (that isn't a real question) I would also think it may end up having a profound affect on prices. I would certainly think that changes to a more Euro style of licensing; having one place to go for ALL forms of licensing; would cause an increase in what we pay for material. But I think most would welcome the higher prices if it offered some clarity, sanity and peace of mind.
