DO YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR A PROGRAM IF YOU PURCHASE HARD DRIVE WITH MUSIC ALREADY THERE?

Normally, those hard drives are stolen karaoke songs.

Unless the drive is delivered with all of the original CD discs.

You can start out smaller by buying a few discs at a time..

...and he was never heard from again.

Usually those hard drives come with some hosting software. You got hosed. ;c)

Sometimes they even come with pirated hosting software.....

well guess i just got took huh i went to find hard drive for friend to use in karaoke for bar but the ad i did not read carefully it said if you have the originals then this is for you i dont so i guess i am screwed huh?

If the drive came with no original CD's that corrispond to the songs on the drive, then the songs are illegal.

Sorry, but it sounds like you've been conned big time. Unless said songs are for non-commercial home use only then they are completely worthless. The person who sold you that drive... did they charge a lot for it? The rule of thumb would be if it seems too good to be true, it is exactly that.
