There are charities that do occasional karaoke fundraisers. Personally, I think they are more useful for raising awareness and making new friends for the charity than for how much money they raise, but that's not unusual. We've done fund raisers before - $1 minimum per song. Higher $$ get up next (we were getting slips with $100 & $50 bills attached to them). We raised over $2500 in a 4 hour period for a Mend A Heart (for abused children) doing this exact method. THis is the one & only time I allowed high dollar tips to be a consideration for next singer

JUst curious, how much money does it take to re-open unused airfields? It seems like that would cost a pretty penny!
