The link didn't show me what you just bought. It brought me to a page that said:

We're sorry, but the product that you are searching for is sold out at this time, or is no longer available. For more information please contact customer service.

The rest of the page was just a sitemap.

Ack....I didn't think about that. When I bought it, they pulled the item.

This is what I bought -

http://www.shure.com/americas/news-events/press-releases/shure-super55-red-and-black-limited-edition

It is used, but I called the Guitar Center that listed it and had them test it while I was on the phone. I also bought the Pro-Coverage for it. It is completely covered for this first year.

Grand Total - $364.56

Super Happy about this buy!

I prefer the basic all silver look without the glam colors. Call me old-school(which I am) but just my preference. Mine are all silver and the few that use them in Portland are also all silver.

Now the next question: Do you use the all metal round base mic stands or tripods. I DO NOT LIKE TRIPODS AT ALL...........too difficult to swing and sway the stand while moving around like I like to do while singing. Tripods are just way too clumsy.

Chris - make sure you’re getting the Special Edition black mic with red mesh lining. Your earlier post photo (before it was pulled) was not black.

Shure released this mic three years ago & were available exclusively at Guitar Center, promo until supplies last; all sold in only a few weeks. No longer in production but still the most sought after Super 55 because of its unique clear response & higher gain before feedback (hardly any feedback) not to mention the classy retro smooth look. They're really hard to find. I think Bazza owns one too. The other one pictured below another collector’s item, the gold-plated super 55. They’re clearly the finest mics I have ever owned. Congrats, Chris!

I now want to come to your show or Brian's show just so I can sing on one of these beautiful things.

And, you know, to hang out with you guys.

I was about 60 miles away from Brian 2 weeks ago and could not find the extra time to see one of his shows. I too would have loved singing on one of those mics. :D
