Frustrated that you can't access Select-a-Track from the U.S. or any sites that ban users from your current location? Google is attempting to help the average person break down these barriers. Proxy servers have been used for decades to bypass internet filtering by computer geeks like myself, but they're a pain to find and setup for the average person. In a nutshell, Google is taking the side of internet freedom and we're glad to see them helping the average user to put this power within their grasp.

Seems Google doesn't care about the laws of the land. At least SOMEONE is willing to fight this nonsense.

On a related note, the FBI admitted taking over the largest TOR network servers.

They ran it for over a year.. collecting names and other data..

Let me think about this, did they infiltrate proxy servers too?

I'm the other way round, I want to use Select Karaoke. There must be an easier way to avoid getting booted onto Select-a-track than repeatedly hitting Esc at every page refresh?

I think SAT is a better option if you have access to it. SAT has everything SK has but more.

Sorry, you're wrong. Select Karaoke has many tracks/brands that do not appear on Select-A-Track. Tricerasoft is fine for downloads, but I once had a disc from them and it was a con. Not only had they put on the wrong version of one of the tracks, the disc was a completely blank CD-R. I object paying the not very cheap shipping cost for THAT. Select Karaoke, I am assured, will supply you with a properly labelled disc that Select-a-track, Customburn all the other disc companies bar Tricerasoft do.

as far as I know, the select-a-track uk site, is the only site that has has chartbuster/digitrax songs available. And i think they have the entire catalog too because when you click on the digitrax logo, it shows 13,000+ songs.

You are correct James. Proburn seems to has most of the Chartbuster catalogue, but there are the odd number of omissions from there that Select-a-track has, Digitrax/Karaoke Cloud branded. However, there are still some Chartbuster tracks that have never made it to either site, it would appear my only hope there would be to source old stock/discontinued Chartbuster CDGs discs.

I was really referring to brands such as Sundown karaoke that only Tricerasoft and SK stock. If I want a properly labelled disc over these I will have to overcome the obstacle course that is Select Karaoke.

SIDENOTE: If you can access S-A-T you may notice that many of the Digitrax tracks are still in the blue/white colour scheme that Chartbuster used. These tracks differ to CB in as much as the Karaoke Cloud logo appearing at the start instead of the Chartbuster logo. Instrumental breaks screens and copyright screens at the end of the track still carry the Chartbust logo!
