You and cue are so big on facts Chris.

1. Fact in the years this legal process has been tried there are today more pirates than when the process began.

2. Fact in all this time I have never seen an investigator, I thought they were supposed to be out here?

3 Fact personally I have only met one host even approached by SC in all this time and when it was found out he had no assets SC dropped the investigation.

4. Fact in over 19 years of professional hosting I have never paid one penny more than the original price for any of my materials.

Just the facts.

Fact - There are more cases of AIDS in the world now than in the 80's when it was discovered. - Should they stop working on a vaccine?

Fact - In all this time, I have never seen a giant squid in real life. Does that mean they don't exist? (and.....btw.....the investigators are INTENTIONALLY hiding from you)

Fact - I personally know 2 hosts that were sued and settled and both feel it was ultimately beneficial to their business to go the route they did. I voluntarily did CB and SC Certs as well as the Stellar CAP and they are all part of the reason why I am successful.

Fact - In the 4 years I have been hosting, I have paid significantly LESS than retail on average for my material. But your related fact and mine have nothing to do with the price of rice in China!

FACT - Nothing you said has anything to do with the SC and PR pursuing hosts after getting a GEM/Cloud Subscription. You can't stay on point, you can't have an intelligent conversation about things, you make stuff up (lie), and you are ultimately giving bad advice to unsuspecting people that read this forum. Please stop.

If that is "THE ONLY FACT THAT INTERESTS" YOU, then you shouldn't be advising others to follow steps that you have been unscathed by. With 1 day left before you retire from being a KJ, you were lucky nothing ever happened to you. Just because YOU WERE LUCKY, doesn't mean OTHERS MIGHT NOT BE SO LUCKY. Your prejudiced and distorted views of the whole situation can lead to others getting hurt if they follow your advice.



And you know this fact how????????????????? This is NOT A FACT. It is YOUR SPECULATION. YOU couldn't possibly KNOW THE TRUTH behind this statement, unless you got it DIRECTLY FROM SC's LAWYERS AND/OR KURT HIMSELF.


Now THAT IS A FACT!!!

I talked with the host that was turned loose cue, and you know what he is still using SC today and is still in the business. Now tell me how effective this legal process is. I would have to say very lucky since I was hosting 6 days a week 10 months out of the year without any problems. Oh I guess not using SC at all had something to do with it. See it pays to boycott.

Chris the purpose of all of this legal dog and pony show is to as Kurt put it, "drive sales". Whether it is licensing GEM or getting subscriptions to Cloud the goal is the same to generate revenue under the guise of recovery. The whole point is this is all pointless, and will even be more so after tomorrow. I did not make up CB destroying discs, I did not make up CAVS describing the SC legal process as a giant racketeering scam, and I did not make up the figures given out at summit II that show quite frankly that this whole legal process has been one giant failure. That there are more active pirates today than when the process started.

An un-educated KJ may already be "in trouble" by the very fact that the KJ chose to be un-educated when becoming a KJ. If that KJ came to this "discussion" to be "educated" that would just prove to be another dumb mistake.

An un-educated KJ is not going to acquire an education on anything in this thread, except perhaps a lesson on what will happen if that un-educated KJ should attempt to participate in this forum with a viewpoint that doesn't meet the approval of the self-appointed karaoke police.

This thread was on topic for only one half of a page and then spiraled into four pages of KJs trying to beat each other into submission. I suspect that your un-educated KJ reading through this thread will begin to discount the value of any of the contributions because of the mean-spirited nature of the responses and personal attacks. I'm not even sure if there is a point being made here, except that you guys don't like each other.

The written word is the most lasting form of communicating our thoughts and expressing the person we really are. I get an uncomfortable feeling when I realize I had been acting like a jerk; it's even worse when I do it in writing.

I find it stupefying how we are all in a customer service / hospitality industry where manners and courtesy are generally a required skill-set for success, yet we take no pause in writing some of the rudest things at each other that we would never dream of saying face-to-face.
