Kudos to All Star. I think I'll check them out. I haven't purchased from them as of yet but may give them a try.

I think it's great that they stepped in. But I was curious about the "All Star Computer" that was mentioned in the Facebook post... I know that they sell different laptops but it seems as though they have a new touchscreen system....

Has anybody seen or heard of this?

It looks pretty interesting!

I'm just wondering where they found Slaying The Dreamer - Nightwish that they are showing in the picture demo of the kiosk, as this song is not out anywhere.

Interesting they call it "the only USA fully licensed HiDef library."
So that would make the SC GEM set...

From what I understand GEM's are nothing but mp3g - can't hi-def those. Hi-def are videos.

Had the misfortune to get involved (become associated with) the KWC (By Proxy) in Ireland a few years ago. We run a professional honest Karaoke show and pride ourselves in being fair to all involved!
Regrettably we agreed (for a third party) to run a few events for the KWC, for our efforts we received 4 posters for the event and sod all else. (*ps: We had one of the best performers on the night of our regional final, but because we aren't city based, he was ignored, that was the audience opinion on the night) We ran 6 hugely successful nights competition. Regretfully we were ostracised from the competition the following year as we refused to pay a Fee, Commission or membership to the KWC.
We have been wary of hosting any type or competition since. By all accounts hosts for this event have to pay huge rights (MONEY) to be affiliated with this sham contest!
My advice, Steer well clear, Life is too short and OUR customers deserve more respect.
Rant over, thanks for reading! Look forward to replies.
K.

$5k for a Pro Bundle and you still have to provide a sound system. Pricey.

Hi Chris,

I went for the 1500 song package to get started... I don't have any HD tracks and have a corporate event that is using a lot of Flatscreens and they requested it... All I can say so far is - WOW http://www.karaokewh.com/item/36543/the-karaoke-kiosk-family-fun-karaoke-bundle/
