I unfortunately missed the tricerasoft black friday deal on downloads that Brian mentioned in another thread. Too bad the 20,000 sbi song package isnt discounted tomorrow.

Well we got a QSC KW153 for 1117.00 , and a cover for 83.00. We also got a Shure BLX24/SM58 Handheld Wireless w/ Gator case for 330.00 with a 25.00 mail in rebate. This all on a 12 month payment plan thru Zzounds... Good deal huh...

After reading EMI vs. SC thread, the doorbell rang that changed my mood to positive.

Update: No cyber Monday deals for my items. Santa came in early & delivered these today. Wifey will be pi**ed to the max. She gave me $$ & specifically told me no karaoke gear this x’mas, Buy clothes only! The problem was every time I go to clothing store websites they’re always re-directing me to musiciansfriend, gc, zzound, sweetwater, alto music, etc. Tested it already. I am in deep sh*t of trouble. I have to think of a good reason why I bought these instead. Not anticipating better mood from her but I’m prepping myself from her wrath when she comes home from work tonight.

Tremendously! She’s my assistant kj, my one woman ‘welcoming committee’ to new patrons, explain how the show works, pass the books, be the first on the dancefloor to draw & encourage the guests out onto the floor, etc. makes my job a lot easier. She enjoys karaoke as much as I do; according to her it’s like partying with friends every weekend. Life is good!

Brian, you have just described my wife to a tee. My wife grew up in Santa Rosa and moved to the Lafayette/Pleasant Hill area. It must be the area the produces great host's wives. (she's great not me)
