As you can guess, I'm running Sax & Dotty's. When I have substituted for a fellow KJer before, his laptop was set up to where he had 2 video screens that appeared when a karaoke file was being played. So he could put 1 on the singers/audience screen, and the other could be on his laptop screen somewhere. I asked him how he did that, but he couldn't remember. I've tried to download various plug-ins for winamp, but have not had any luck in getting 2 video screens to come up.

I'm aware that some of the hoster programs have screens built in, but I've already purchased S&D and don't really want to change hosting programs at this time.

Does any one have any idea how I can do this?

In your Winamp directory inside the plugins folder look for the file named gen_cdg.dll
Copy that file to your desktop and rename it gen_cdg2.dll and then move that renamed file back to where you copied it from so you will now have a gen_cdg.dll and a gen_cdg2.dll file in the plugins folder.

Start up Sax N Dotty and start a karaoke song, move your mouse arrow onto the lyrics window and hold down the left mouse button and drag the lyrics window over, there should now be a second lyrics window that was underneath the first one. Position as you like and close winamp, winamp will remember the position at close and use that position the next time you start it, provided your second monitor is turned on when you boot your computer or your rf modulater recognizes the second monitor at boot.

Thanks, I figured you would be the one that would have the answer! I'll give it a try.

I have the sax & dotttys program, and i can see both video screens on my laptop. My lap top is set for 2 screens, but I cannot get ONLY the karaoke audience screen on the monitor. Both the sax & dotty's control panel and video screen is on the monitor. I need help on this desperately...

You need to go to your display settings and "extend" your desktop. With Win7 press down the "windows" key and then press the letter "p". A box will open and using the arrows right or left arrows highlight the "extend". Now you should be able to drag the singers screen over to another connected monitor.
