fyi - Pocket songs available on iTunes for downloads, but I think they're karaoke instrumentals, no graphics for $.99.

We disagree. They did some terrific single artist discs, not just high quality, but with a high percentage of "keeper " tracks.

I'm surprised PS lasted THIS long. Other than the pansy broadway stuff the recordings sucked imo....

Except for the songs they offered that no one else had at the time - those were the best!

Well that would probably be PHM or All Star since they seem to be the last two left.

Yes, the Pocket Songs digital library is being sold to another American company that may surprise many. Remaining stock of physical discs may or may not be destroyed based on if a large karaoke supplier will be purchasing their stock in the next week. CDGs discs haven't been made from Pocket Songs in over 2 years as the recent releases were CD audio only. The MMO (Music Minus One) website and their CD collections remain at this time. It's mostly a library for instrumentalists in the classical genre. The Pocket Songs disc website is permanently offline but the Pocket Songs audio only downloads website is currently running and will be transferred to the new owner. Digital files should also be rebranded under the new company in the future. So in the past few month, All Star, Pop Hits Monthly and Pocket Songs are gone or sold and Karaoke Cloud isn't progressing as expected either. Great start to 2014 :(

Yup,and I hope they stick around. Quality NEW releases and negligible licensing issues. Way ahead of All Star and Stellar as far as quality. Slower to release, but they do it right.

I thought All Star was in good shape. You can also buy them in retail stores (Walmart, Best But, Target, etc), and also offer Custom CDG's from their web site. And every on line karaoke seller sells them. WTF?

Nope, I have a gut feeling that I won't be surprised at all. What would surprise me would be any LONG TERM success by the aforesaid "who ", assuming that they are successful in the short term.
